The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on the global economy. It has not left our country's economy untouched. The restrictive measures introduced to combat the global pandemic have led to certain problems in the Russian insurance market as a whole and in the domestic car insurance market in particular. The main problems in today's unstable conditions were the global crisis in the automotive market, the depreciation of the national currency and the decline in personal income.
