Axiological "love" dominant in the narrator's language of "Siberian's stories" by V.I. Sokolovsky

In the article the authors analyze the value of the concept of love in the narrator's language world view. The source of the study is the work of a XIXth century poet Vladimir Ignatievich Sokolovsky (1808-1839) «Siberian's Stories.» An outstanding poet, journalist and writer of the XIX century Vladimir Ignatievich Sokolovsky(1808-1839) was a contemporary of A. S. Pushkin, E. A. Baratynsky, N. P. Ogarev, A.I. Herzen. The language of V.I. Sokolovsky' works makes it possible to reveal the bright personality of the poet. The object of our study is a linguistic image of the narrator in the work «Siberian stories» In this work there are two plot-development lines which are skillfully interwoven. The purpose of this article is as follows: to detect the dominant value of LOVE lexeme in the language of the narrator. In order to identify axiological dominants, value meanings we used the method of continuous sampling: 50 keywords with their verbalized versions were selected from the text of the «Siberian Stories» by counting their usage frequency. Among the selected key words four value concepts: GOD, FAITH, LOVE, SOUL stood out. As the result of the analysis paradigmatic and associative relations of verbalized value units of LOVE were revealed. We came to the following conclusion: in the linguistic world view LOVE lexeme (51 verbalized units) is used in the following component composition: a sense of affection, sympathy, penchant for; feeling of love, sexual interest; inclination, addiction to something.
