80th anniversary of the restoration of historical education in Mordovia and the 20th anniversary of the History and sociology institute of Ogarev Mordovia State University

The article discusses the program of scientific, educational and extra-curricular activities to mark the 80th anniversary of the restoration of historical education in Russia and the 20th anniversary of the History and Sociology Institute. The authors note a lot of work conducted by the Institute staff during the jubilee year, as well as large-scale involvement in the activities of the Institute staff. Separately they emphasize the most important event of the year - the work on the book «The Truth in the word: past and present of the History and Sociology Institute of Ogarev Mordovia State University», as well as large-scale celebrations held on October 17, 2014.
