He article deals with the questions of providing services in different types of society and different linguocultures. The inner essence of service and culture of service is defined in the article. The latter comprises of the combination of spiritual values, norms and ethics of behavior, which correlate with national traditions of the country and modern requirement of the world standards of services. In the article it is shown that system of values of a particular nation influences the specifics of services provided and participates in the process of working out and correcting of the norms and rules of providing services. It is shown that national culture directly influences the process of providing and consuming services
