Foregn muslims and their aid to starving adherents in the soviet Russia: some aspects of Central spiritual governance for Muslims committee activity against starvation (1922-1923)

This article analyzes some aspects, results and assessments of Central Spiritual Governance for Muslims Committee activity against starvation in the 1922-1923. Taking into consideration various archival sources the author describes the work of the Committee and the possible results of its activity on political attitudes of the Soviet Russia to the Volga-Ural Muslims and their religious leaders.
