The Vvedenskiy excavation trench in the Pereyaslavl Ryazanskiy Kremlin: launch of excavations

In 2016 excavations began in the southeastern part of the Pereyaslavl Ryazanskiy Kremlin. Top layers are represented by recent anthropogenic waste, the waste layer is more than one meter thick. Paving boards and seven wooden buildings dating to the end of the 15th-16th centuries were discovered within the trench. The assemblage of artifacts is limited to household goods, high-status finds are practically absent.
