Атеросклероз сосудов в настоящее время является одной из самой распространенной патологией в мире. На данный момент изобретено и введено в практику большое количество вариантов хирургического лечения атеросклероза. Сравнив методы воздействия на атеросклеротическую бляшку в хирургии сосудов, такие как Криопластика, Фотодинамическая терапия, Эксимерный лазер, Ультразвуковая ангиопластика, а также применение различных катетеров-проводников и устройства для эрадикации инфекционных агентов, можно сделать вывод, что хирургическое лечение атеросклероза является успешным и перспективным, позволяющим индивидуально подбирать варианты лечения для каждого пациента.
