The warrior's pre-scythian burial near Zheleznovodsk

The burial from the Borodynovka-3 burial ground in the area of the CaucasianSpars in the Stavropol Region may be attributed to a rare group of pre-Scythian nomadicburials found in the West Koban culture area. Distinctive traits of the funerary riteand offerings help determine its dating within the range of the 8th - early 7th centuries BC.The model of cultural relationship between non-local herders and the Koban populationgroups in this period is fundamentally different from relationship traced back to the earlyScythian period.
