Influence of the level of psychological conditions and the ability for self-management on the results of penalty throws in basketball

The main aim of the work done is to reveal the degree of influence of athletes psychological conditions on the results of penalty throws in basketball. Basketball players aged 17-23, a young team «Lokomotive - Kuban», and those of a united KSUPEST team, having the 1-st grade and candidates to Masters of Sports took part in the research work. The influence of the conditions of both anxiety and aggressiveness, and of general ability for athletes selfmanagement on the effectiveness of fulfillment of penalty throws during competitions was revealed in the course of the research.
