Influence of psychosocial and clinical factors including disorders as result of alcohol consumption on undesirable outcome of tuberculosis treatment

We conducted a surveillance of patients initiating treatment for tuberculosis. In the beginning, we have identified the presence of аalcohol use disorders by means of diagnostic module interview Alcohol and Drug Abuse (CIDI-SAM) and measured the social capital of participants through a series of questions in the form of an oral interview. The outcome of tuberculosis treatment, we have identified using the WHO criteria.
