The influence of nanosized additives on the formation of dispersed phase of greases

The mechanism of structure formation of soap thickener grease passing on the scheme sol-gel pro­cess is introduced. The influence of nanosized addi­tive on the character of the structure formation of the dispersed phase of grease and its properties under the various technological schemes of the additive in­jection into the reaction mass is shown. The method of the nanosized additives injection in the reaction mass, wherein the particles of additive are as the additional centers of crystallization of the dispersed phase of soap grease and they are implanted inside the fibers of the salts of high molecular weight acid is developed. This provides the formation of ramified binary dispersed phase including the nanosized par­ticles of the additive and high molecular weight salt. The nanosized particles of additive are uniformly dis­persed in the grease and are fixed within the fibers of the dispersed phase. Such structure of the dispersed phase of the grease causes its improved colloidal sta­bility, high load capacity and increased resource ef­ficiency through the realization of effect of tribome­chanical modification of friction surface.
