Educational migration to the Russian Federation: regional differentiation and contribution to the socio-economic development of regions

The article presents an analysis of the territorial differentiation of academic migration by federal districts of the Russian Federation, specific regions of the country, by countries of origin of educational migrants, by settlements of different populations. Named universities leading Russian education in the number of attracted to study migrants. The calculation of income from attracting foreign citizens to study was carried out. The proposed activities to stimulate academic migration.
