Purpose: To improve the efficiency of the implementation of measures to prevent corruption crimes. Methodology: Analytical, formal-legal, comparative-legal, classification methods, situational, practice-oriented and educational approaches are used. Results: Three groups of typical misconceptions (and refutations to them) were identified and analyzed: - on the unlawfulness and punishability of corruption crimes (criminal delusions); - forensic and operational-search character; - regarding the defense against charges of corruption and / other crimes. Generalization, analysis and refutation of typical misconceptions about corruption crimes and measures to combat them will increase the effectiveness of comprehensive, interdisciplinary measures to prevent corruption, anti-corruption education, and anti-corruption compliance. Novelty/originality/value: In the article, typical misconceptions about corruption crimes and measures to combat them are for the first time classified into three named groups. In the few previous works on a similar topic, only delusions of a criminal law nature were considered. The originality and value of the proposed approach lies in its interdisciplinarity, as well as in focus on anti-corruption education tools adapted for the population, which can be implemented, among other things, by lawyers in criminal cases.
