Strategic organization of the mediator''S speech in the english mediation discourse

The article discusses the main features of the strategic organization of the mediator's speech, namely verbal tactics that allow a specialist to fulfill the strategic plan and achieve the global goal of the mediation discourse. The increasing interest in the out-of-court settlement has heightened the need for studying the structure of the mediation discourse in order to reveal the most effective negotiation tactics. The authors have identified and described some of the most common speech strategies used by mediators during mediation sessions and determined the cognitive linguistic triggers that enable effective implementation of these strategies.
