Modern methods of research of smell traces

Introduction: the article substantiates the significance, modern possibilities, and evidentiary potential of the conclusion of a forensic olfactory examination based on the growth of its quantitative indicators. Materials and Methods: in the course of work on the article, the following methods were used: comparative legal, system-structural, statistical and logical.
