Personnel training for the hotel industry: current aspects and trends

The training of the head / manager of the hotel complex / hotel chain is characterized by the active using the tools of information and communication technology (ICT), therefore, in the preparation of bachelors and masters in the field of "Hospitality" the process of informatization of education is of particular interest. Also, the process of preparing managers of a hotel complex or hotel chain should be carried out, taking into account the main stages of hotel development, namely activities to implement any hotel investment project, including the stages of finding a land plot for the construction of a hotel complex and investment, preparing initial permits, developing a business plan, and subsequent management and operation. The formation of the bachelors' competencies in managing the current activities of employees, monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the departments of the hotel complex should be carried out using ICT tools. ICT tools are useful in the masters’ training for implementing the labor functions of the managers of the hotel complex or hotel chain on the analysis and evaluation of activities and project management and changes, in the development of the concept and strategy of the hotel network...
