The youngest in the ranks of decent - science journal of Volgograd State University. Natural sciences

The article describes the main stages and development features of Science Journal of Volgograd State University. Natural Sciences which performed publications in the field of Earth sciences, biological sciences and psychology, for the period from 2011 to 2016. It was shown that systematic measures aimed to improve quality in all elements of the article life cycle led to the formation of a team, able to support this Journal at the level that would satisfy the demands of the modern authors, readers and citation databases. The author names the key partner-organizations in Volgograd and outside the region, describes the authors’ geographical affiliation in dynamics. Top list of most cited publications is given together with a brief analysis of the reasons for their high demand.
