Бесплатный доступ

The study conducted has demonstrated that the Mesolithic layers at the GorbunovoPeat-Bog sites have yielded diverse bone arrowheads, some of which have clear traces ofuse. The nature of the damage pattern, polish from use and linear traces demonstrate thatthe arrowheads were used in hunting, primarily, large animals. It is quite consistent withthe predominance of elk bones among faunal remains recovered from these layers.
