Issues of classifying realia and their translation in literary discourse

Translating English language realia in texts of literary discourse is among the most important problems. This article presents the results of the study, during which the classification of the realia used in the novel by J. Steinbeck The Grapes of Wrath was carried out, the adequacy of the translation techniques was analyzed, the most frequent realia translation techniques were defined.
