«Pro bono» as legal profession activity: Russian experience

Purpose: The analysis of forms of a free legal aid in relation to activity of advocates in Russia. Methodology: Comparative and legal, historical and legal and formal-legal methods were applied. Results: In article the Russian experience of development of «pro bono» as one of legal profession activities is analyzed, historical stages of development of this institute are investigated and modern activities of lawyer educations within «pro bono» are shown. Novelty/originality/value: Article is of a certain scientific and practical value as contains the author’s generalizations characterizing experience of development of institute of a free legal aid in Russia.
