Advantages and disadvantages of the Russian economy for implement reference of import replacement strategy

The presented article deals with topical issues of import substitution. Among them, problems such as the ambiguity of understanding the essence of the import substitution process, the multivariance of approaches to solving current problems and the lack of methods for assessing the results achieved and their effectiveness are highlighted. Conditions for reducing the country's import dependency are indicated and possible risks are considered.
