Legal basis of the high courts activities of states in the Republic of India

Purpose: To cover legal basics of activity of the High Courts of states in Republic of India. Methodology: Private and scientific methods of knowledge were used: formal-legal, comparative-legal, historical, system analysis and others. Results: In article legal bases of functioning of an important component of judicial system of Republic of India represented by the High Courts of states (allied territories) are opened and the analysis of the regulations regulating their activity is provided. Novelty/originality/value: Article contains a number of the author’s conclusions and generalizations important for jurisprudence and practice.
