In article, an analysis of some aspects of the legal status of a lawyer in connection with the adoption of the Law of Ukraine «About advocacy and advocate activity». Examines both the theoretical and practical aspects of the implementation of certain provisions of the Act, including those relating to the Lawyerі Association, the legal status of the lawyer and the legal profession as a whole, for their compliance with international treasure on these issues.
