Concept and classification of crimes in the sphere of business activity

Purpose: To identify the essential characteristics of crimes in the field of business activity and, on this basis, to form a system of crimes in the sphere of business activity, separated from other crimes in the sphere of economic activity. Methodology: The method of system analysis, formal-logical, comparative-legal and other methods of cognition were used. Results: The article examines the legislative framework for combating crimes in the business sphere, examines doctrinal approaches to the concept and classification of these crimes, analyzes the legal positions of the highest judicial instances on this issue, establishes the correlation of these crimes with other crimes in the economic sphere, proposes reasonable solutions on the division of crimes in the field of business activities into groups. Novelty/originality/value: The significance of the work lies in the fact that the author has identified the grounds for distinguishing crimes in the sphere of entrepreneurial activity into a separate group and proposed their original classification.
