I. A. Ilyin's political theory and practice of Russian modernization in XXI century

Abstract. The article deals with the ideas of the famous Russian philosopher I. A. Ilyin (1833-1954) about the future development of Russia. It proves that these ideas are actual in the light of democracy building in contemporary Russian society. The special attention is paid to the analysis of the role of fundamental Russian traditions in the contemporary political process
