Prospective directions of development of the state support of socially unprotected layers of the population (on an example of the Volgograd area)

The article examines new forms of social services for various strata of the population on the territory of the Volgograd region. For single elderly people, it is proposed to introduce such a form of social assistance as a foster family. To improve the quality of social services, it is suggested to use the population's assessment of the quality of the services provided. It is proposed to strengthen the information support of activities, bringing to the population all opportunities for obtaining social protection and assistance through the portal "Social Compass". In order to strengthen work with young families and reduce social risks, it was proposed to open Family Clubs at social service centers.
