The speed of sprint running is determined by various conditions and factors. Some scientific studies have shown that the speed of motor actions is a function of the whole organism. In this regard, it is important to identify the features of the impact of a targeted training load on the physiological systems of the body, which contribute to the change in the speed of short-distance running. The article discusses the pedagogical conditions and factors affecting the performance of competitive activities, depending on the level of physical and technical readiness of an athlete. In the course of the study, the following methods were applied: analysis and systematization of scientific and methodological literature, compilation of best practices of coaches, highly skilled athletes, filming, pedagogical experiment, testing, mathematical processing of results. The authors found out that sprinting requires a specific predisposition to this sport. The leading conditions and factors of improving sportsmanship are revealed: optimal indicators of general physical and technical readiness; phenotypological features of the body, increasing the aerobic and anaerobic performance of the body, rational selection of preparatory and supplying exercises of speed-strength nature, the development of methods for improving the individual technique of running steps, indicators of physical fitness and functional status...
