Coordination abilities of athletes is the basis of their technical skills. The previous studies have shown that the development of coordination abilities of hand-to-hand combatants is a complex process. New diverse movements training of combatants should be provided with a gradual increase in their coordination complexity. In this case, the combinations of technical actions must not be built as a stochastic construction of elements, but as a dynamic system which elements are manifested in specific situational activities, in functional realizability. That is why movements should not only be fixed in a certain structure of an athletes' technique on the basis of coordination abilities, but also interact with each other through biomechanical, biological and functional links. It is established that, mastering of new movements, athletes not only replenish their motor experience, but also develop the ability to form new types of movement coordination. This approach to the development of coordination abilities of hand-to-hand combatants has been taken as a basis for the formation of pedagogical technology of coordination abilities development, consisting of three stages. At the first stage the assessment of the development level of coordination abilities of hand-to-hand combatants is conducted. At the second stage there is a development of new movements on the basis of a gradual increase in the coordination complexity of actions and the ability to form new types of movement coordination. At the third stage the improvement of various types of manifestation of coordination abilities based on the application of differentiated specific training means and methods of combatants is conducted. The implementation of the developed technology in the training process of hand-to-hand combatants in the experimental group, completed by the cadets of the Army Air Defense Military Academy of the Russian Armed Forces named after A.M. Vasilevsky has showed its high efficiency. The effectiveness of the proposed technology has been manifested in the increase of the immunity of combatants in the results of the optokinetic test and the universal indicator of the equilibrium function.
