Pedagogic and scientific activity of Panteleimon Krestovich Zhuze (1870-1942)

The article studies the pedagogic and scientific activity of a great representative of Russian Orientalism (late XIX early XX centuries), expert in Islam and Arab studies, historian and public person P. K. Zhuze. The author analyses his works on Oriental, Islam and Arab studies, history of Middle West Christianity and South Caucasus. The scientist's contribution into Russian Oriental studies is determined.
