Peculiarities of the formation of athletes subject position in the youthful age

The given research is devoted to the problem of sport activity influence on the development of self-consciousness of youthful age athletes. The comparison of peculiarities of selfconsciousness of athletes and persons of the same age, who dont go in for sport, showed that signs of immaturity of the self-conception are evident in both of them, but as for athletes, the narrowing of the self-conception is even marked here too. The data about the positive influence of the worked out by the author training programme on the athletes` consciousness coming-to-be have been adduced in the article.
