Peculiarities of cerebral hemodynamics in athletes with physical activity increasing in thermoneutral and heatwave environmental conditions

Бесплатный доступ

The features of cerebral hemodynamics in athletes performing increasing physical activity to failure in thermoneutral and heatwave environmental conditions have been revealed. During the exercise of increasing power (from 50 to 250 W) with a maximum duration of 27.6 ± 0.4 minutes in a thermoneutral environment (17 ± 1 ° C, 65 ± 1%), it is easier to maintain the thermal state of athletes within the optimal range. In this case, a balance of circulating blood is achieved between its arterial inflow into the brain and venous outflow from the region. The results obtained allow us to conclude that in the process of developing hyperthermia, due to the performance of increasing physical activity to failure in a hot, humid microclimate, unfavorable conditions are created for venous stasis of blood in the cerebral basin.
