Foundations of the constitutional system as a category of constitutional law (on the example of the Republic of Kazakhstan)

Purpose: The foundations of the constitutional system of the Republic of Kazakhstan are examined in their comparison with the foundations of the constitutional system of Russia. Methodology: Legalisitc and comparative methods are used. Results: The authors offer their own vision of the “constitutional system” category, under which its basics are analyzed on the example of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Novelty/originality/value: The article has scientific novelty, since the foundations of the constitutional system of the Republic of Kazakhstan are poorly understood in Russian legal literature.
