The main directions in change of federal state educational standards in the light of introduction of the All-Russian sports complex «It is ready to work and defense» (GTO)

One of actively discussed problems in the sphere of physical culture and sport remains a problem of preservation and promotion of health of the population today. Doctors and teachers regularly give the unfavourable statistics reflecting a state of health of children and teenagers, graduates of schools and recruits. Search of strategy and the mechanisms of development of physical culture capable to involve the most part of the population in maintaining a healthy lifestyle and, as a result, increase of level of health of the nation is connected with it.
