The article attempts to comprehensively assess the quality and effectiveness of the state debt policy of the Khabarovsk Territory. For this purpose, the dynamics of the public internal debt of the Khabarovsk Territory for 2019-2021 was analyzed, the volume of public debt and the value of the debt burden of the Khabarovsk Territory were compared with the total volume of public debt and the value of the debt burden of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation. For a more objective assessment, an audit of the effectiveness of the debt policy of the Khabarovsk Territory was carried out.
