Education in the age of digitalization

The state of the education system as an economic system, a subsystem of the public economy is analyzed, taking into account the latest trends towards digitalization of the educational process. The necessity of expanding the traditional methodological base of the study of the sphere of education, assessment of the quality of the functioning of the education system through the use of the principles of constructivism and structuralism, methods of synergy is substantiated. Considered are initiatives to introduce a digital educational environment in Russia. The views of domestic and foreign scientists on the digitalization of education are presented. The tasks of changing the approach to the organization of the learning process, which modern education sets before society and the state, are revealed.
