In the article, the authors selected an activator type acceptable for mixing a foam concrete mixture based on the viscosity values of the mixture, the possibility of operational control of the activator speed regime in a wide range, and analysis of the activator design features. Experimental studies of the influence of the geometric characteristics of the activator on the homogeneity and energy efficiency of mixing the mixture are carried out. The rational number of blades of the adopted activator is determined from the point of view of the quality of the prepared mixture and the technology of manufacturing the design of the activator. It was established that the choice of the ratio of the diameter of the mixer to the diameter of the activator should be made with a comprehensive view of the power consumption and quality of the prepared mixture, the optimal range of values for this ratio was determined. The rational value of the ratio of the length and width of the blades of the activator is revealed, which ensures the maximum uniformity of the foam concrete mixture at the optimal values of the coefficient of power consumption.
