On the phenomenon of tolerance (historical-pedagogical aspect)

The author summarizes the theoretical data and makes a historical-pedagogical evaluation of tolerance as an integral quality of the Internal Affairs agencies’ officer in current conditions, which is determined by the Internal Affairs agencies’ work. Variety of people’s sociocultural lifestyles full of potential conflicts and tense is the peculiarity of social development at present. Therefore, policemen normally encounter the problem of tolerance in their work.
