Netflix streaming platform neologisms as markers of modernity

The article is devoted to the functioning of markers of modernity in German language, arising to designate new objects and concepts in the field of culture, economics and politics, which act as a kind of link between language and non-linguistic reality surrounding a native speaker. Using the example of the Netflix Streaming Platform, the linguistic and pragmatic characteristics of markers of modernity, which play a significant place in the communicative space of a society, are described.
