In the article, on the basis of philosophical and socio-philosophical methodology, the essence of scientific-technical creativity is studied and its definition as innovation-oriented transforming activity aimed at formation and improvement of the productive forces of the industrial society is given. For the artifacts of scientific-technical creativity, the conditions and mechanisms of formation based on the principles of advanced reflection are revealed. The statement is justified that the natural, social, and spiritual (ideal) patterns characterizing the transformation in the framework of scientific-technical creativity of a fragment of objective reality, are learned and changed by the creator in accordance with creator's vision and the peculiarities of creator's creative potential. This phenomenon defines the unique nature of technical artifacts that are predictable in form and unpredictable in content. It is proved that the interrelation of artistic-esthetic, scientific, and technical creativity in the context of Antiquity, the Middle Ages, and the Renaissance epoch serves as a factor contributing to the development of creative abilities of socialized individuals. It is shown that throughout the history of technological civilization from the eighteenth century to the present day, scientific-technical creativity was one of the determining factors of its evolutionary development.
