Национальная идентичность как движущая сила развития туризма: исследование Норвегии

Срочная глобальная потребность снижения зависимости от добычи природных ресурсов и поиска решений для устойчивого будущего отражена в политике, приоритетной для норвежского правительства. В частности, туризм был определён в качестве перспективной альтернативы для будущего экономического развития. Туризм в Норвегии не остался незатронутым глобальным ростом числа международных туристов. Этот рост часто не распределяется равномерно ни по географическому, ни по временному признаку, что затрудняет трансформационную способность туров генерировать круглогодичный и хорошо распределённый доход. Кроме того, туристы больше не руководствуются исключительно гедонистическими и релаксационными потребностями: они также хотят бросить вызов себе и глубоко погрузиться в чужую природу, культуру, другой опыт. Мы утверждаем, что более эффективная интеграция национальной самобытности может привлечь внимание туристов и помочь сблизиться с принимающими общинами и, таким образом, стать движущей силой развития туризма. В этой концептуальной статье, основанной на обширном количестве источников, исследуются основные элементы норвежской идентичности, включая политические и культурные ценности, национальные особенности, интересы и образ жизни, а также их интеграцию в индустрию туризма. Мы считаем, что лишь некоторые из этих элементов используются в отрасли и зачастую в коммерческих целях для получения экономической выгоды. Мы обсуждаем несколько примеров того, как национальная идентичность может быть преобразована в уникальные коммерческие аргументы, которые будут способствовать устойчивому развитию. Однако это требует эффективного управления, а также скоординированного и комплексного управления туристическими направлениями, в котором участвуют заинтересованные стороны как в сфере туризма, так и за его пределами, особенно местные сообщества.
