Modern complex diagnostics and qualitative morphological diagnosis are important conditions for the development of an optimal therapeutic algorithm for suspected relapse of breast cancer. On its own clinical example, the importance of a multimodal approach to the differential diagnosis of secondary tumor lesion is shown. Thanks to modern clinical and radiologic diagnostics, interventional technologies, qualitative morphological analysis and close interaction of all members of the multidisciplinary team, the patient with suspected recurrence of breast cancer managed to verify the lesion of non-tumorous genesis (sarcoidosis) and to plan the correct treatment tactics.
