"Mysticism" of dreams in the thoughts of P. A. Florensky

This paper analyzes the philosophical beliefs of P.A. Florensky concerning the problem of dreams, The problem is presented as a problem of interaction of "visible" and "invisible" worlds. Using comparative analysis of the philosophy of Plato, Aristotle, and Freud's psychoanalysis the author has revealed the identity of symbolism of the Russian thinker, his understanding of dreaming nature. The author has come to the conclusion about symbolic, mystical understanding of dreams by the Russian philosopher.
