Miniature altars from ancient Greek sites in Crimean Priazovia

Бесплатный доступ

The paper publishes three miniature stone items that, most likely, performed the function of small altars. They were found at two sites in Crimean Priazovia (Polyanka and Chokrakskiy mys settlements). Yje finds were discovered in the layers and constructions of the same chronological period (middle of the last quarter of the 1st century BC) in different years. While they have some differences in shape, they clearly demonstrate that at least some portion of the local rural population followed traditional Ancient Greek beliefs and sacral practice.
