The 20th anniversary of the international association of ethnopsychologists and eth nopsychotherapists

The development of the Russian ethnic group depends on overcoming the ethnodemographic crisis, revival of the social and spiritual core of the people, strengthening its internal basis, patriotism and love for the Fatherland. High culture, genetically transferred spirituality, humanism, enlightenment, striving for the revival of the intellectual and moral potential of the nation have been preserved in the depths of the Russian people. We need targeted efforts at the state level to overcome disbelief, confusion, loss of prospects and guidelines for the search and selection of alternatives to mass alcoholism, drug addiction, delinquent, deviant, anti-social forms of behavior. The Russian state needs programs of renewal, revival of spiritual culture and health (physical, psychological, mental) of its citizens, separate nations, layers of population and society as a whole. The contribution of psychiatrists into the national ethnic policy is to strengthen the mental health of the numerous peoples of the North Siberia and the Far East.
