Metaphysical interpretation of actor-network theory and its limitations

The article considers the problem of the metaphysical interpretation of actor-network theory (ANT), developed by G. Harman, and analyses the theory of actants. The author shows how the criticism of relationalism leads to the transformation of actant concept and explores three limitations that define ANT as theoretical metaphysics.
