Both the timing of Preventive and Mandatory Social Isolation (ASPO in Spanish) and Preventive and Mandatory Social Distancing (DISPO in Spanish) have caused anguish and anxiety in people with disabilities, especially in those children who lack the conditions to understand reality. The demands of caregivers, who have been those who absorbed and contained all of this discomfort, have clearly expressed the need for a response to relax, in a controlled way, the situation of initial isolation and subsequent distancing. The impact on people with disabilities during both instances is the central concern of the authors of this paper. Focusing on one of the edges of the complex situation faced by people with disabilities and their environment, the way in which the recommended care and prevention measures to deal with the pandemic were communicated will be analyzed in this article. To this end, publications on Facebook, Instagram and the official websites of the Ministry of Health of the Nation and the Ministry of Health of the City of Buenos Aires were studied, comparing the dissemination strategies and the characteristics of the communication of prevention measures aimed at the population in question.
