Personal determinants of athletes' self-regulation inclined to protest activity

The issue of self-regulation in sport is dynamically developed in recent years, but the very impact of protest activity on the regulatory process is not essentially studied. The specific regulatory functions of the various forms of protest activity and their role in the enlargement of selfregulation in the aspect of efficiency, reliability of sport activities and also their interaction with personal peculiarities in a integral regulatory process are analyzed in the article. The empirical data proving controversial contribution of the protest activity in the regulatory process are adduced.
