Lexical gaps and metaphors in English and Spanish business terminology

The article is devoted to the comparative analysis of lexical gaps and metaphors of the English and Spanish business terminology. The aim of the article is to systemize the types of lexical gaps in business terminology and to compare the reasons of their appearance or absence in both, the English and Spanish languages. The author as well investigates the classification of metaphors among business terms, holds out a contrastive analysis of metaphoric terminology in the English and Spanish languages and studies semantic fields which serve as a basis of the formation of terms-metaphors in business terminology.
