Целью исследования был поиск оптимального алгоритма лечения пациентов с фронтальными переломами дистального отдела плечевой кости. В настоящее время не существует единой классификации фронтальных переломов дистального отдела плечевой кости. Однако появилась возмож­ность достоверной оценки характера изолированных переломов головки и блока мыщелка плечевой кости. Согласно последним исследованиям, при оперативном лечении фронтальных переломов дистального отдела плечевой кости отдается предпочтение использованию расширенного доступа по кохеру для восстановления конгруэнтности суставных поверхностей с использованием субхондрального введения металлофиксаторов. Опубли­кованные ретроспективные исследования позволяют предположить, что в целом у большинства пациентов, которым выполнено ORIF переломов головки и блока мыщелка плечевой кости, наблюдался хороший и отличный результат. Однако являются значимыми последствия неудачной репо­зиции и фиксации, а также других послеоперационных осложнений.
