The culture of the school in the horizon of faith: about the mission of saints Cyril and Methodius

The very situation of the mission in its church-historical and catechetical content significantly actualized, unfolded and prompted a new awareness of the relationship of the Hellenic school and the Church faith in the Byzantine spiritual culture. This relation, except for the simplified interpretation that defines it (like this: or / or), was not somehow institutionalized, but it was verified and hierarchically ordered according to the measure, by the faith of guided, free self-determination. Namely, it was freedom not from strict perfection of the belief, but freedom of the faith itself — in its eschatologically oriented essence.
